Monk Contemporary dedicates the fall of 2025 to the experience and its groundless intensities. The experience doesn’t repeat what you already know, but evokes an epiphany that ask for a new self-ascription.

Subjectivity is world making. We are experiencing the world as an ongoing formation of the self. Self-ascribing moments, and events, like the sound of the rain, the smell of asphalt and peach, but also the identification of colors, people, dish washers and id-cards. The experience seems to be the medium – an open field of intensities, grades of being, through which the self and the world continuously emerge.
